GTC's role is to facilitate business between producer and consumer, acting as a principal or intermediary
to the contracts as required by the client.
The main fields of expertise include, but not exclusively, agricultural commodities (grains & oilseeds), crop inputs, veterinary medicines, Georgian wine exports and specialist products including high value pulses, nuts and food ingredients. GTC is can also provide or advise on supply chain management, finance and market development.

These advisers compliment the shareholders own varied and in-depth marketing, supply & trading knowledge.

Avto has over 15 years’ experience in finance and investor relations, having started his career in Tetra Tech Es, Inc, Dubai. Since then, he was an Investor Relations Director with Black Earth Farming from 2013. His responsibilities included speaking with institutional investors from major buy-side houses and research analysts from investment banks, while producing all investor related presentations, weekly and monthly financial reports, following the markets and fully coordinating investor roadshows and other.

From 2016, Avto continued his career in Investor Relations with Georgia Capital Group – FTSE 250 at London Stock Exchange. His experience in this field extends from a mid-size business to a very large- scale corporate organization.

While he has been working in corporate finance throughout these years, he also owns a wine production business, based in Georgia. A medium size winery, well-known for its consistency in making high-quality wines in the domestic market as well as abroad.

Avto speaks English, Russian, Georgian, and moderate French; he resides in Tbilisi.

Colin has over 45 years’ experience in the agribusiness sector managing private and corporate operations in the UK, Russia and Georgia. His experience extends from very large scale “broad acre” crop production working with Black Earth Farming as Regional Director managing over 100,000 Hectares of crop production too high value crops particularly in the nut sector with Ferrero Hazelnut Company responsible for all day-to-day operations on 4,000 Hectares of Hazelnut plantations and purchasers from 3rd party out-growers too.

Colin’s drive is to continuously improve business performance both financially and through operational excellence using modern technology and data driven management systems. Team building and development are one of the greatest keys to business success and a high priority in his management approach.

In recognition of Colin’s work and results he has received national awards in the UK and Russia. His business network is extremely large and diverse which by association he is able to support future business ventures for the company.

Colin is based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He speaks English and has a good understanding of Russian Language.

Having started his career with Cargill in the UK & Europe, Richard has a background in International Commodity Trading, grains & oilseeds and latterly specializing in the marketing of quality assured products to the food industry including direct exporting to key customers in Europe and Scandinavia and supply chain management.

Richard was Commercial Director with Black Earth Farming from 2011. His responsibilities included negotiating long term supply contracts, usually in the export market, and responsible for trading, contract execution including freight, documentation, foreign exchange and payrnent. He was also responsible for the procurement of crop inputs (fertilizer & agro chemicals) machinery and fuel.

Since stepping back from full time directorships in 2021, Richard has assisted in creating and managing trading opportunities, project management and advises on company and trading structures, skills which are now fully utilized as a founding shareholder of GTC in Georgia.

Former Chairman and CEO of Cargill International S. A. in Geneva Switzerland. Norman has spent a 45-year career in the trading and shipping of global commodities.

From 1996 Norman was a member of the Corporate Centre of Cargill, a member of the Corporate Risk committee, and the Corporate Research committee. Returning to Geneva in 2005, Norman became Chairman and C.E.O. of Cargill International S.A. As President of the Cargill global energy businesses, he had operational responsibility for Global Petroleum, Power and Gas, Renewables, and Polymers and Plastics trading, as well as the shipping of petroleum liquids. Norman was responsible for building out these businesses in physical trading, and assets. As a continuing member of the Cargill Inc. Corporate Centre, Norman held posts on the Corporate Global Risk, and the Financial Standards committees, for the last 10 years of his career with the company.

On retiring from Cargill in 2015, Norman joined Gemcorp LLC, as Executive Chairman of Gemcorp Commodity Trading (GCT). Gemcorp is an Emerging Market credit fund, based in London with its focus on Global Food Security Programmes in Africa, the Middle East and Russia and Norman was responsible for the build out of the physical commodity flows into and out of these regions. Subsequently, he left Gemcorp in 2020.

Norman has long term and significant depth in the theory and practical applications of risk in trading, with a deep understanding of risk taking and management. Technology and the application of technology to solving practical problems are of particular interest, which has led him to the position of C.E.O. of Ethersec LLC a video analytics and AI platform.

Norman speaks French and moderate Russian; he resides in Geneva.
